چکیده

This paper presents the correlation-based motion estimation technique for 3D displacement of objects. Two high-speed cameras are configured as a stereovision system and synchronized in real-time. Finger hand motions captured form digital images at 1500 fps 2000 respectively. A complete acquisition is calibrated to determine intrinsic extrinsic parameters which were later used correlation algorithm. The grayscale image frames acquired from correlated using square templates 10x10 pixels created reference image. finger discussed with varying camera speed measure brightness inconsistency. observations coefficient indicate that proposed algorithm efficient up 20 50 cases was increased 0.987 0.972 left right cameras, respectively, while 0.924 0.898. developed MATLAB validated by tracing sinusoidal solid rectangular element an accelerometer sensor mounted over block.

Forward-backward Correlation for Template-based Tracking

A significant limitation of traditional template-based trackers is their inability to handle out-of-plane rotation, which can cause total self-occlusion of the target. We present a simple extension to template-based tracking that overcomes this problem. A forward correlation-based search for computing the transformation (displacement and scale) between two image frames is augmented with a backw...

Event-based Moving Object Detection and Tracking

Event-based vision sensors, such as the Dynamic Vision Sensor (DVS), are ideally suited for real-time motion analysis. The unique properties encompassed in the readings of such sensors provide high temporal resolution, superior sensitivity to light and low latency. These properties provide the grounds to estimate motion extremely reliably in the most sophisticated scenarios but they come at a p...

Object Tracking by Normalized Cross Correlation and PCA Based Template Updating: Comparative Analysis

The principle behind to detect and track non-stationary object via a sequence of frames is addressed. The proposed strategy pushed the Normalized Cross-Correlation (NCCR) to track object by matching the template and updating the template is encouraged through Principal Component Analysis (PCA). This work remarked with exhaustive experiment and witnessed with comparative analysis over dataset re...

Moving Object Tracking in Video

The advance of technology makes video acquisition devices better and less costly, thereby increasing the number of applications that can effectively utilize digital video. Compared to still images, video sequences provide more information about how objects and scenarios change over time. However, video needs more space for storage and wider bandwidth for transmission. Hence is raised the topic ...

3D Template-Based Single Camera Multiple Object Tracking

This paper describes a 3D template-based tracking method that allows simultaneous tracking of multiple objects of different type. The assumption is that movements of all objects are constrained to a ground plane so that the tracking functionality can be accomplished using just one properly calibrated camera. The tracking algorithm is based on particle filtering where each particle represents on...
